A stunning set of posters depicting the Orion and the Horsehead nebula in the constellation Orion.

The Orion nebula is an enormous cloud of interstellar gas and dust. It’s one of the brightest nebulae in our night sky. It’s 1,350 light years away from us and is a very active star forming region meaning new stars are being born here!

It was captured from Dhaka using my homemade telescope and other advanced astronomical equipment. I locked on to this part of space and exposed my camera for over 11 hours and used the best 8 hours of exposure from that. The result was this stunning image showing intricate structures and vibrant colors.

The Horsehead nebula is another very famous attraction of the Orion constellation. It is a dark nebula made of interstellar dust and it is surrounded by a beautiful cloud of hydrogen that glows in red. The brightest star in this image is Alnitak, the eastern star of the Orion’s Belt. Next to it is the beautiful Flame nebula that looks like a burning bush. This image took more than 11 hours of exposure over the period of three nights of shooting. It’s one of my favorite captures of all time!

FRAMING
